Happy Fourth of July!!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy Fourth of July! Not much happened our way just a few craft projects and lots of fun on the water! :) I love spending quality time with the fam and the 4th gives me that opportunity ;)

Flag craft project that I wanted until the absolute last minute to do, I am a terrible procrastinator :o

& what is the 4th without a yummy dessert I was so proud of this cake until it melted in my husbands truck on the way to the river and then strawberries disappeared off of it???

Hope everyone had a fabulous Fathers Day weekend! Pinterest gave me the best idea ever for a gift for the hubby from the kids, and of course I wait till the last minute to get my stuff together. But I think that the crafts turned out just great.

The next craft was for their granddaddy this is the one that they had the most fun doing.

Excitement for the Kids

My middle & youngest son absolutely love watching truck pulls, they are even more excited now that their daddy pulls in them. I have learned to love it myself. :) 

This picture is one of my favorites, he looks so innocent in it.

They say that the smoke is not a bad thing?? I thought that it usually meant something was wrong. :p

My mother and father in law touch us the Pine Knoll Shores aquarium Sunday the kids were so excited and I must say I was too. Hadn't gotten a day like that in awhile. They treated the kids to a surprise trip to the beach after the aquarium. 

After this weekend I think I need a vacation to rest! ;) Wouldn't have it any other way though!

Shewww it was a busy busy but fun weekend. Photography is my passion and stress reliever, I simply love to let all my worries fade away behind the lens of a camera. Anyhoo, enough about that. I had the chance to photograph my childhood best friend twin's this week for their first birthday! It was so much fun, even if we were having a tropical storm. Yes that is right we had our first tropical storm of the season & we were out taking pictures like a bunch of fruitcakes. LOL! Here are some of my favorite shots that we got that day.

My middle baby had his K-4 ceremony this morning & decided that he was not going to do anything on stage but play with his tie. I do not know where he gets his shyness from, I sure am not that way. When it was his turn he did do a flip over to the teacher to get his awards. Silly boy.

Happy Easter from our house to yours! We started our Easter Sunday off early with going to our sunrise service at church (we must remember the reason why we celebrate Easter). Then we went to Sunday School & worship service. My favorite part of Easter Sunday is time spent with the Family, we had lunch with Wesley's family at his Grandmothers & Granddad's followed by a Egg Hunt for the kids. Then we went to my Aunt's & hunted eggs again! Love time with family & Friends. Anyhoo until the next post have a great day! :)
